Camp Coffee
Still looking for the best way to enjoy coffee while camping? We’ve ranked our Top 3 methods by simplicity, ease and flavor.

- Pour over with Cone: This method is great because it’s just as good as the stuff you have at home, and so easy and streamlined to make at the campsite too. All you need in addition to the hot water are some coffee grounds, a filter and a cone. This works pretty well for backpacking also - customize the above list to fit your needs (smaller cone, reusable filter, etc).
- Cold brew: Although it requires a little planning, the great thing about packing cold brew is you can just bring the concentrate in a sealed jar/container. No grounds, no filters, no mess, and the best part: since it’s prepared in advance, you can have instant (and amazingly delicious) hot or cold coffee! Not great for backpacking due to the extra weight, but it’s so good it might be worth it.
- Aeropress or French Press: Both presses are popular for camping (and we prefer Aeropress over French Press in general for maximum yield and flavor), but we’ve ranked them below the other methods if you want to streamline or are needing to pack as light as possible, because the presses will take up more room in your pack and they generate a little more mess.
